Work has started on our brand new 8000 sq.ft expansion to the existing warehouse which is set to create space for further enhancement of our state of the art production lines.
The new extension is being built near the entrance to the site.
It came only months after Star Tissue unveiled a new 70,000 sq ft warehouse. This saw a large area of the complex rebuilt and renovated, and means the site has expanded to more than 160,000 sq ft.
Star Tissue had at the time announced a new production line, which cost more than £2.5m producing 800 rolls a minute. The investment plan began back in 2018 and will mean production increases to 1,000,000 quality rolls per day
Khalid Saifullah, MD said: “We are continuing with our future factory programme. This new extension will support further production enhancements and minimise loading times. We have now invested over £5m since Covid began to ensure we can meet the increased demands of hygiene paper products.”
